Shipping policy

SHIPPING COSTS - 

When ordering between Dec 25th 2023 - Jan 1st 2024 please allow a few extra days for our shipping team to dispatch your items. We appreciate your understanding. Merry Xmas!

We will ship your Tunchy order directly from our warehouse in Sydney, Australia to various international locations. Your order will be picked and packed by a Tunchy team member and sent out as soon as possible. Given we are picking and packing orders, please allow for maximum of 2-3 business days before your order is dispatched (Orders are typically sent within 36 hours of receiving). We appreciate your patience and understanding as a small business. 

CUSTOMS, DUTIES & TAXES

Where you are located outside of Australia, you will become the importer of your order for customs purposes and will be responsible for any import restrictions, additional duties or taxes applying. These importation duties and taxes are not the responsibility of Tunchy Pty Ltd, and are implemented by the customs authorities in your country of residence. We have no control over the amounts charged. Please make enquiries with your local customs authority to confirm any importation duty, tax rates and thresholds.

For orders being shipped to anywhere within the European Union (EU), tax will be applied at checkout for orders under the relevant thresholds. The inclusion of these taxes will be clearly indicated on your order confirmation. This VAT tax is collected in accordance with the EU IOSS scheme.

DHL Express International will contact you when your goods arrive and are ready to be released, to advise you of the relevant duties and taxes applying to your order and the process for making that payment.

Where your order has not been claimed or is refused, DHL will use its best endeavours to attempt redelivery. Should redelivery be unsuccessful, your parcel may be abandoned or destroyed by the authorities in the destination country. Tunchy Pty Ltd does not claim responsibility for orders that are not paid for in time or refused.

AUSTRALIA - 

Express Shipping - (2-3 Business Days) 
A flat rate of $15 will be charged for all orders with a delivery address within Australia. Orders will be shipped with Australia Post. If your order is delayed, lost or damaged, please contact Australia Post directly. 

Standard Shipping - (2-5 Business Days)
A flat rate of $10 will be charged on all orders to addresses within Australia. Orders with standard shipping will be shipped via Australia Post. If your order is delayed, lost or damaged, please contact Australia Post directly. 

NEW ZEALAND -  

Express Shipping via DHL - (3-5 Business Days)

A flat rate of AUD$28 (NZD$ Equivalent) will be charged for all orders with a delivery address within New Zealand. We cannot ship to a PO Box within NZ and your order will be shipped directly to your door via DHL Express, with an email including your full tracking details. Your order may require a signature on delivery (unless you authorise otherwise). For further information about your delivery with DHL, please check their website for details. 

Where you are located outside of Australia, you will become the importer of your order for customs purposes and will be responsible for any import restrictions, additional duties or taxes applying. If GST applies to your purchase, it may be payable upon arrival into New Zealand, plus a DHL processing fee or 2.5% of the credit amount advanced. All purchases of NZD$1,000 or less will not incur any additional duties or taxes. Please refer to the Customs, Duties & Taxes section above for more information regarding additional fees that may apply to your order.

United States of America -

Express Shipping via DHL - (3-5 Business Days)

A flat rate of AUD$28 (USD$ Equivalent) will be charged for all orders with a delivery address within the United States Of America. We unfortunately cannot ship to PO boxes in the United States and your order will be shipped directly to your door via DHL Express, with an email including your full tracking details. Your order may require a signature on delivery (unless you authorise otherwise). For further information about your delivery with DHL, please check their website. 

Where you are located outside of Australia, you will become the importer of your order for customs purposes and will be responsible for any import restrictions, additional duties or taxes applying. No import duties or taxes will apply to orders under USD$800 being shipped to the USA. Please refer to the Customs, Duties & Taxes section above, for information regarding additional fees that may apply to your order.

CANADA - 

Express Shipping via DHL - (3-5 Business Days)

A flat rate of AUD$28 (CAD$ Equivalent) will be charged for all orders with a delivery address in Canada. We cannot ship to PO boxes in Canada and your order will be shipped directly to your door via DHL Express, with an email including your tracking details. Your order may require a signature on delivery (unless you authorise otherwise). For any further information about your delivery with DHL, please check their website. 

Where you are located outside of Australia, you will become the importer of your order for customs purposes and will be responsible for any import restrictions, additional duties or taxes applying. For all orders over CAD$20, Tax will be payable upon arrival into Canada, plus a DHL processing fee or 2.5% of the credit amount advanced. Please refer to the Customs, Duties & taxes section above, for information regarding additional fees that may apply to your order. 

 THE UNITED KINGDOM - 

Express Shipping via DHL - (3-5 Business Days)

A flat rate of AUD$28 (GBP£ Equivalent) will be charged for all orders with a delivery address in the United Kingdom. We cannot ship to PO boxes in the UK and your order will be shipped directly to your door via DHL Express, with an email including your tracking details. Your order will require a signature on delivery (unless you authorise otherwise). For any further information about your delivery with DHL, please check their website. 

Tunchy Pty Ltd is currently in the process of obtaining their VAT number for importing into the United Kingdom. For now, you will become the importer of your order for customs purposes and will be responsible for any import restrictions, additional duties or taxes applying. VAT & Duty will be payable to DHL on arrival into the UK, plus a DHL processing fee or 2.5% of the credit amount advanced.

When Tunchy Pty Ltd has obtained their VAT number for the UK, the following will apply- For orders below £135, VAT of 20% will be added to your purchase at checkout. For orders £135 and above, VAT & Duty will still be payable to DHL on arrival into the UK, plus a DHL processing fee or 2.5% of the credit amount advanced. Please refer to the Customs, Duties & Taxes section above, for information regarding additional fees that may apply to your order.

EUROPE - 

Express Shipping via DHL - (3-5 Business Days)

A flat rate of AUD$28 (EURO€ Equivalent) will be charged for all orders with a delivery address in the European Union. We cannot ship to PO Boxes in the European Union and your order will be shipped direct to your door via DHL Express, with an email including your tracking details. Your order will require a signature on delivery (unless you authorise otherwise). For further information about your delivery with DHL, please check their website. 

For orders up to €150, a 20% VAT will be added to your purchase at checkout. For orders over €150, VAT & Duty will be payable to DHL on arrival into the European Union, plus a DHL processing fee or 2.5% of the credit amount advanced. Please refer to the Customs, Duties & Taxes section below, for information regarding additional fees that may apply to your order.


PROCESSING & DISPATCH

Your order will be processed Mon-Fri, with dispatch within 72 hours (excl. public holidays). Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information. If you have not received your confirmation email, please check your junk mail and contact us via tunchy@tunchy.com

SHIPPING DELAYS

We will do everything we can to ensure you receive your order within the estimated timeframe given. However, from time to time there may be some delays that are outside of our control. If you haven’t received your order within the expected timeframe, please check your tracking details and/or contact the Australia Post or DHL directly. 


LOST PACKAGES

All orders are the responsibility of the customer once they’ve left our warehouse in Sydney, Australia. Should you suspect your package has been lost in transit, please contact us via tunchy@tunchy.com, and we’ll do our best to get in touch with the dispatcher and help you track your package. In the rare and unfortunate event that your order is lost in transit, please make a claim directly with Australia Post or DHL.

 

CHANGE OF ADDRESS

Should you wish to change your shipping address, please contact us directly via tunchy@tunchy.com prior to receiving your shipping confirmation email. Unfortunately, we cannot change your address once your package has been shipped.

 

INCORRECT ADDRESSES

Please take care to ensure you enter your address correctly at checkout. If you have entered an incorrect or incomplete address, any additional fees involved in redirecting or resending will fall on you. 

 

PICKUPS

We DO NOT allow click and collect at this time.
